National Science Foundation Phase 1 SBIR Grant

We are thrilled to announce that Ai-Ris LLC has been awarded an incredible grant of $260,000 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. This funding will be used to develop and utilize machine learning to expand access to eye care, with the goal of preventing diabetes-induced vision loss in vulnerable populations.

This is a major win for Ai-Ris LLC, as it will give us the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are excited to get started on this project and can’t wait to see what we can achieve with this funding.

We'd like to thank NSF and SBIR for their generous support and recognition of our work. We would also like to thank all of those who have helped us in our journey including (but not limited to) VentureWell | McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship | Texas A&M University College of Engineering | Blackstone LaunchPad | OwlSpark | Alien Technology Transfer | Sling Health | Harsha Mohan | Marcus DeAyala. We look forward to working together to make a positive impact on vulnerable populations around the world!
